Last updated: 1 October 2026
Who is responsible
TextToAudio Labs determines why and how account, billing and usage data are processed for the service. For customer scripts and uploaded material, the customer is generally the controller and TextToAudio acts as a processor.
Legal bases
- Contract: creating an account, generating audio and delivering paid features.
- Legitimate interests: preventing abuse, maintaining security and improving the service.
- Consent: optional analytics or marketing communications where consent is required.
- Legal obligation: retaining transaction records and responding to lawful requests.
Data minimization
We collect the account details needed for sign-in, the information required to process payments and the technical data needed to operate and protect the service. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
- Access a copy of personal data associated with your account.
- Correct inaccurate account information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request portability where technically feasible.
Retention
Account data is retained while the account remains active. After deletion, personal data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where transaction or security records must be retained by law.
International transfers
Service providers such as Stripe, Google and Cloudflare may process data in other countries. We use appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards for those transfers.
Exercising your rights
